9 weeks left, but who’s counting?

I’ve noticed that “the line” is starting to show, the linea nigra. This is the slightly darker colored line running down my belly. It’s still pretty light but I noticed it.
I’m having lots of aches and pains in my pelvic area and back. These must be those infamous “round ligament pains.” From […]

3 hour glucose test

What a morning! I rolled out of bed with 30 minutes to shower and head out the door to the lab just a few minutes away. I hadn’t had anything to eat or drink since 10 PM except for some water during the night. The lab opened at 7 but only had […]

18 weeks

Here I am, 18 weeks pregnant. Since I’ll probably deliver early I’m at about the halfway point. I’ve gained about 5 lbs in the past two weeks which is excellent. No more feeling sick like during the first trimester or having food aversions although sometimes I do still get a little sick […]

prenatal yoga class, food and weight

I had my first prenatal yoga class yesterday and really enjoyed it. It was neat to be in a room full of other pregnant women (from 6 weeks to due that day!) going through the various poses. I’m glad that I’ve spent the past couple of weeks learning the basics already because I […]

vitamins save the day!

All praise vitamin C, B6 and unisome. I had an entire day nausea free yesterday! It seems to really be doing the trick. I haven’t been grumpy at night, I have more energy in the evenings, and no sickness. I’m a happy lady.

vitamins to save the day?

This weekend I started taking extra vitamin B6 and C to help my my nausea. It does seem to be helping. I’m also able to take a Unisom at before bed which is also supposed to help. The rumor is that this will all mellow out by 20 weeks… most do by […]

feeling better

I had a great weekend.
Not so many problems with feeling sick and can even eat at a restaurant again. Took full advantage of this!

eating for two/three

My stomach sickness is either subsiding or I’m doing a good job of keeping it under control. I still feel like I’m going to get ill at least once a day but it’s much more manegable and tends to come after I eat now instead of because I need to eat. It’s usually […]

full on first trimester

I don’t know who thought of calling it “Morning” sickness. It’s constant and never stops. I haven’t actually gotten sick yet (knock on wood) but it’s like a constant state of hang over.
Feeling tired and emotional. I just start crying huge wet tears at any moment.
I’m not very sleepy because there is […]
