On the Road to Success
This week I hunkered down and focused on two things at home, Forest’s brushing and Logan’s potty training. And I’m happy to say that we are making great headway with both.
Forest is wearing clothes that he hasn’t worn in months and gets into the car seat without any upsets. The car [...]
Bye Bye Nap
Have I mentioned yet that Logan has started to drop his nap? It’s not every day and seems to have no rhyme or reason to it. It was tough for me the first few times because I really relish that hour all to myself. But he knows that is mommy’s quiet time [...]
cuddly
The boys are growing up and asserting their independence more and more. But they still crawl into my lap and say “me baby” on a regular basis as well. So I snuggle them, sing to them, and otherwise give them assurance that no matter how big they get, no matter how independent, Momma [...]
Budding Artist
Logan is an aspiring artist. He’s still learning all his various options and the mediums available. Currently he’s digging photography. He’ll take the digital camera or the iPhone around and take pictures. Here are some of his recents.

Introductions
After a bit of a rough start, we had one of the most perfect park experiences a mom can hope for. The boys stayed in the same area even though it was a HUGE park and one could have decided to go wandering. They did a great job of listening to me and [...]
Masks
Logan loves to play dress up. He wears shoes, scarves, hats, tiaras, jewelry, masks, anything. Forest is not a fan of things around his neck because he’s very sensitive and ticklish. He also doesn’t like it when other people wear costumes or masks. I understand the mask thing because it can [...]
Whew!
Tonight as I was in the kitchen putting away remnants of the boys’ dinner, they started chasing each other around, wild giggles and laughter. Suddenly, I heard a sliding and Logan crying hysterically. I had my back turned and didn’t see exactly what had happened but assumed he’d smashed into the train table. [...]
Working on the Train Gang
I love watching the boys “figure things out.” Here was a perfect visual example that I was lucky enough to catch and save.

Still not exactly it but great ideas!:
Logan
Here are some sweet photos that I’ve captured of Logan over the past few months on my iPhone.
Staying Warm thanks to Papa
When my dad was here at Christmas, he taught the boys how to keep warm when it’s cold outside. He taught them to clap their hands together, rub then, and then put them over their ears. They LOVE doing it and always shout , “papa!” over and over as their way of saying, [...]
