Baby Dropped

Logan dropped at some point over the weekend (Saturday?) and boy has it been great!  No more need to eat a Tums after every meal and every time I get out of bed.  In fact I think I’ve had one Tums since then.  I’ve been able to sleep through a whole night again!  For at […]

video additions

Mom and Dad bought us a video camera for Christmas (but gave it to us early for the babies)!!!  It’s so awesome and I’m so excited to be able to use it to record and post on here as the boys grow up!  So very thankful :)
While I have no intention of videoing the birth […]

Date is Set

Just got a call from the doctor’s office. If I do not have the boys on my own by Monday I will be checking into the hospital on Monday night at 7 PM for preinduction procedures (things to help ripen my cervix). On Tuesday morning at 6 AM they will start the induction […]

Mom

Did I mention how fun it is to have Mom here to chat with all day?  I’m so thankful to have her here right now.

37 weeks

Started the morning off with a chiropractor appointment.  Because of Logan dropping I wasn’t going to be able to lay on the table so I had a traditional popping adjustment.  First time I’d ever had one of these and it was really crazy feeling.  I feel really good though and I think I like them […]

Ready and waiting

Mom made it into town on Saturday evening.  It’s already been so nice having her here!  We’ve (Mom, Me, Brad and Dusty) been telling the boys every day how ready we and the world are for them and to meet them.  I’ve dropped considerably over the past few days which helped me sleep really well […]

contractions

I’ve noticed an increase in contractions over the past few weeks.  Lately I have them daily, particularly in the afternoon/evening.  I’ve had a few that were sharp but I wouldn’t describe them as painful yet.  Primarily they are the tightening, Braxton Hicks type.  I wonder how it will feel when they change.

They now come twice a week

This morning I had a doctor’s appointment. My blood pressure was elevated enough for some concern (140/80). The doc had me lay down and then checked my other arm and it went down to 100/60. There was no protein in my urine sample and I haven’t exhibited any other symptoms of preclampsia. […]

None Stress Test

This morning I had my first none-stress test. These are usually done on singleton pregnancies if the mother is past her due date but much earlier with twins or other high risk pregnancies. It was very simple and easy. I got to sit in this very yummie recliner, this thing was HUGE, […]

sleep, or lack there of

I go to bed each night between 11 and 12 and am up again around 2 hours later.  I read for an hour or two until I get exhausted again.  Then it’s back to bed for another few hours of sleep, but then I get up again because of all the discomfort in my shoulders, […]
