Shout Out
I just found out that today is “Delurking Day”. “Lurking” is when you read a blog regularly but don’t make yourself known by commenting. I have 30-40 visitors a day with lots of regular readers. Friends, family, people who just found me… who are you? Please leave a comment so that [...]
then and now
One year ago this week their idea of fun was laying in the crib watching the mobile. Now they tear apart the Little People Farm while Logan sings a tune. They used to sleep swaddled on their backs in our bed at night and took naps in the swing or bouncy chair. [...]
We wish you a Merry Christmas
We had a wonderful weekend before Christmas and a wonderful Christmas. Good times with friends and family. We are working on some uber cute video from Christmas morning to share, hopefully by tomorrow it’ll be up. Taking the boy’s for their first hair cuts this afternoon, Logan’s curls are officially out of [...]
12 month doctor visit
This morning the boys went in for their one year doctor’s visit. They are, and I quote “perfect.”
Logan is weighing 22 lbs 10 oz and is 30 1/2 inches tall.
Forest is weighing 19 lbs 3 oz and is 29 1/2 inches tall.
The doc had some cocerns about Forest not having [...]

First Birthday Party
I wanted to make time to catch up about the boys’ birthday(s). This year they got to have two parties, one in California and one in Texas. They were champs about the cake and opening presents and had a blast at both. The one in California was sort of a side note [...]

Happy First Birthday, my little loves!
You melt my heart with your smiles, giggles, hugs and cuddles. I love watching you toddle around the house with huge grins of satisfaction. You should be proud of yourselves, we sure are proud of you!
Photo shoot
Here is a little teaser of the boys’ One Year Photos at Pennys. It was really hard to get good pictures and by the time it was Logan’s turn for individual shots he was done with the whole thing. If we’d been with a photographer just snapping away we would have had some [...]
What I Learned In the First 6 Months of Motherhood
Ask for help. You don’t have to do it alone, no one expects you to, especially if you have multiples. Let your friends and family know that it’s overwhelming and take whatever help they offer. Or better yet, know exactly what help you need and be specific.
Let others help. Lots [...]
attack of memory
Some magic transition has occurred where the boys definitely look older and is it even possible, cuter. I guess toddlers have to be uber cute to make up for the tantrums and other behavior issues.
I’m very aware of coming up on the one year anniversary of their birth. I will sit [...]
