Appreciation

Went to court this morning for a minor adjustment to our child support amount and was once again greeted by a judge who was happy to see two people who have a good relationship after a split. Our family uses a cost shares model instead of the state’s recommendation for child support and the judges always appear to be surprised and supportive of our decision. I appreciate these reminders of how blessed I am to have Dusty as my first husband, friend and father of my children and by Brad as my husband, friend, and (step)father of my children.

i have always appreciated your unique and beautiful relationship as parents. my friend is going through a horrific divorce with a son the age of your boys and it saddens me to see the toll it takes on her and her son. no child deserves to be a pawn….every child deserves a chance to live in peace and good strong love. hugs, mama, to you all.

As a child of divorced parents, I have even MORE admiration for what you’re all doing. If more people were like you the world would be a better place. You set a great example for ALL parents. You = awesome.
