Introductions
After a bit of a rough start, we had one of the most perfect park experiences a mom can hope for. The boys stayed in the same area even though it was a HUGE park and one could have decided to go wandering. They did a great job of listening to me and heading to the car when it was time to go home. I mean, they walked to the car on their own and got in and sat nicely while I buckeled them up! I was just full of praise for them and couldn’t stop telling them so.
But one of the cutest parts was that Logan was trying to introduce himself to the kids he would encounter. If he came face to face with another child, he would say as clearly as he could “Me Logan name, that’s my Forest”. Oh my gosh I was just bursting inside as he would point to his brother and call him “my Forest”. The other kids didn’t quiet seem to understand what he was saying because let’s be honest, it’s hard to understand kids at this age unless you spend most of your time with said child and know their particular accent.
I was proud because while Logan is very shy around adults, he’s very open and friendly with other children. It was definitely a sweet morning.
