Teething is Tough
Forest has the worst time with teething. Since the beginning he has spent weeks and months struggling with all the worst symptoms until the teeth finally come out, usually delayed by most expectations. He’s currently trying to grow in his canines. I’ve been a softy and let him go back to having his pacifier throughout the day again, after a year of only giving it to him at nap and bedtime. Teething tablets never worked for him and Logan so letting him have the pacifier is a way to keep from having to give him ibuprofen every six hours throughout the night and day. The poor guy comes up throughout the day and asks for hugs. He tells me that he is “sad” because his “mouth hurts”. He wakes up early every morning so I let him snuggle with me and fall back asleep in my arms for the last few hours. I can’t wait until teething is over.
