It makes them seem so grown up! We don't have curbside recycling in Anchorage (though there is a pilot program in a few neighborhoods), so we have to go to the Recycling Center on Saturdays to do our recycling. Both boys like to "do cycling" and help us take the recyclables to the different bins...which is tricky when it's icy! (holding a kid in one hand, the recyclables in the other, and watching your step!). Oh, and saying "love". It took me a good 3 minutes to get Reid to say "I love Mama!" instead of "I love airplane!" (or Elmo, or waterslide, or snow, or skiing, or Finn). Funny boys! Our boys are doing several of these things and by reading your post, WOW! It makes them seem so grown up!
