Sing a Song
I was getting the boys dressed this morning and singing the Sesame Street song, “Sing”. I used to LOVE that song as a child. I remember how happy it made me feel even then. The first kids compilation of music we bought for the boys had that song on it and I cried with joy after having forgotten about it all these years and yet still remembering most of the words.
So this morning, singing the song. And I got to a point where I paused to concentrate on pulling Forest’s shirt over his head. And Logan sang the line, “Sing a Song.” He sang words! Those words. My heart burst into a thousand pieces of sunshine and flooded the world with love.
