Wow!
Logan loves his new vocabulary of exclamation words. “Wow!”, “uh oh!”, “Big!” He says them all with such cuteness that I find myself trying to create situations to get him to say them. He’s starting to put words together. Drink, Mommas. Car, red. Truck, big. It’s really exciting to see this new understanding of communication.

Ever my nature lover.
Forest has started calling Logan “brother”. Actually, it sounds more like “brudr”, but we know what he means. Logan hasn’t taken on a word or name for Forest yet so this was really neat to me. Forest is also putting words together but with signs and pointing. I keep working with him to practice words, actually got him to try and say “yes” and “no” today. It sounded nothing like either word. But he’s trying when I ask him to so I’m going to make a point of asking him to say words and take full advantage of the times, like today, when he’s willing to make the effort.
