Covered in cat hair
My title has nothing to do with anything in the post. It’s just that I couldn’t think of a good title and I am covered in cat hair, so there you have it.
I keep thinking about things to blog about, things that I think people would find interesting to read even. Unfortunately I am in a place where I just don’t have the drive to write. I suppose this is one reason why I never pursued a career in anything related to writing. I have serious dry spells. Needless to say I will continue to update about the boys and anything else relevant to our friends and family about our lives. Just might be awhile before I have anything particularly “interesting” to say. I should also add that life is really good right now. I’m overwhelmed by how fast the days are flying by and yet how completely content I am in the here and now. The boys demand a great deal more energy with each new day as they are learning to do so much more and perhaps that is why I would rather cuddle up with a good book during their nap instead of blogging.
Currently:
The house is almost cold free as we have all three now gone several hours without needing a kleenex. Ironically, I prefer Puffs over Kleenex brand tissues and yet still insist on calling them “kleenex”. How’s that for brand recognition?
Logan has started to go whole meals without eating. So the Carnation Instant Breakfast drink mix has gone from being a way to get Forest to drink milk to a way to get nourishment into Logan. The boy can drink some milk, never been a problem there.
This weekend the boys are with Dusty. His parents are coming into town, which rocks because it’s Grandma’s birthday on Monday. This will mean that the boys got last weekend with my parents, this weekend with Dusty’s parents and next weekend Brad’s parents will be here visiting! I think that’s pretty darn cool. I bet the boys would agree if they knew how to express such things.
