Geen!!!
Yesterday afternoon Dawn brought the boys over to my house so that I could spend some time with them after them having been gone with her on the Family Vacation all week and so she could have some time to run errands. The boys almost always want to immediately start playing video games when they get to my house (yay!) and indicate so by climbing up onto my couch and pointing at the TV or trying to get into my video game peripheral drawer to get out the Wii wheel controller.
I only have one Wii wheel so the boys have to take turns playing the Mario Kart racing game, which Forest is really good at, so after a few races of Mario Kart I grabbed two more Wiimotes and put in the Smash Bros. Brawl fighting game so that we could all three play at the same time. It turns out that Logan is really good at Smash Bros. (he’s not so good at Mario Kart) and actually won three battles!
I recently bought a couple of green rubber-gripped battery covers for two of my Wiimotes, and somehow when grabbing the three Wiimotes for us to play with I grabbed one green and two gray, and Logan ended up with the green one. After a couple of battles of Smash Bros. he noticed his was green and had to inspect mine and Forest’s to see what color they were and I taught him the word ‘gray’, at which point he looked at me, pointed at the green one, said “Geen!!!”, and handed it to me to use and took my gray one for himself.
I teared up with joy.
