Oh, What a Night
Last night Logan woke up crying at about 11:00 and wouldn’t stop. We tried Tylenol in case it was his molars hurting. We took turns going in and comforting him, he’d immediately lay back down when we went in but withing a few minutes would be screaming again. We tried just ignoring him but he just kept ramping up and up or would calm down and then start over again 10 minutes later. As I laid him back down into his crib at about 11:45 I saw him kicking his legs out a bunch and I remembered that he had been really upset about his footie pjs when we put him to bed. They always wore footie pjs until about a month ago when it started getting warmer here so we switched to “no feet”. They wear fleece sleep sacks so they stay plenty warm. Out of desperation I quickly change Logan’s pj bottoms from footie to no feet. Low and behold he rolls over and goes to bed. We had to wake the boys up at 7 this morning. So despite having already packed for our week away, this morning I repacked pjs. Removing all footie sleepers and switching to “no feet” pjs. *sigh* Now if only he could have just told us that instead of making Brad and I spend 2 hours trying to figure it out on our own.
We leave tonight for L.A. to stay with Brad’s parents. I don’t expect to be posting much until next Thursday when I’ll have a day to get settled before my parent’s arrive from Seattle to spend five days. The boys are going to have a blast being spoiled by two sets of grandparents two weeks in a row! I’m going to enjoy time with family and all the extra hands to help wrangle toddlers.
Until then….

Ohhh, it’s always some wacky little thing, isn’t it? Johanna would NOT wear footie PJs at all. She kicked herself into a tangled mess whenever we tried them. Goofy girl. :)
Have fun in L.A.!
