Update
Recovering well from the oral surgery to remove 4 teeth in order to make room for all of my other teeth. Monday is the big day when I get the wires on my braces and we start making steps towards the final outcome. I have four gaping holes in my mouth so I would love to see some obvious movement quickly (a few months would be quickly in a situation like this). Vicodin sucked and made me unable to move all day from the nausea. No matter how much I tried, I couldn’t get enough on my stomach on a mush diet to make it go away. Today I’m just on a high dosage of ibuprofen and it is working well although I just got a nice reminder from my body not to think everything is normal. All of a sudden I’m tired and have a bit of nausea.
The boys have been little gems of fun lately although I got to witness how much they test Brad on Wednesday. They are very much toddlers and trying to find out who has what rules and who let’s them do what.
It’s heating up here in Texas as the 100 degree heat starts to kick in. We’ll be taking our trips to the park early in the morning and holing up inside with crafts and such in the hot afternoons. Thank goodness they’ve entered the world of the one nap which works well for this kind of weather as well.
Next weekend we leave for five days in L.A. with Brad’s family. Brad only gets one day and two nights with them before jetting off for 10 days in the jungles of Peru. The boys and I get to stay for five days. Then we make it home for one day to adjust and settle in before my parents arrive for a five day visit.
So there is a wrap up. I really do hope to have much more interesting things to write about in a couple weeks when we get back to normal around here again. I’m looking forward to the fun of the next few weeks but equally looking forward to June and getting back into our own groove again.

Glad to hear you’re safe and sound after your surgery. I had to have several oral surgeries through the years and I know how badly they can make you feel. And MAN you guys are gonna be busy soon!
