Connecting

Nine years ago I had a vision.  I put myself onto a ten year plan to ready myself to implement that vision as a kind of calling for my life.  This morning while washing off my twin 16 month old boys’ high chair trays I had an epiphany about that vision and it’s connection to […]

We know we are cute

Leading the Charge

The most interesting thing happened on Friday. Logan decided not to take an afternoon nap. And did great! He has pushed my “one nap plan” ahead by several weeks all on his own. I guess the couple weeks of a short morning nap helped him realize he was ready. Then […]

Can’t we eat in peace?

They read in their chairs, they eat in their chairs. Here the boys are snacking and cuddling their favorite stuffed friends.

Forest’s Number Four

Forest has added a fourth tooth! He now has three on top and one on the bottom. The teething seems to be getting easier for him as well. Usually just one bad day and then he’s good to go through the rest of the process.

Communication

The boys are working wonders with sign language! And as I mentioned last week, I’m pretty amazed since it’s been many months since we did it diligently. They get the signs a bit confused sometimes, but Forest understands the sign for milk well enough to use it at the fridge when he just […]

You Know that You’re a Mom of Twins When…

You know you’re the mom of twins under two years old when going to the dentist to have 4 cavities filled puts you to sleep. Seriously, I dozed off for a few moments during a short break in the process. Not sure if the dental assistant realized it or not but she woke […]

Love

The time between the morning nap and the afternoon nap today SUCKED. The boys were both a mess and I ended up such a mess that at one point I even locked us out of the house. But this post is not all about that insanity so I’m not even going to go […]

Cling

Some people have static cling. I have baby cling. Sometimes it’s Forest cling, other times it’s Logan cling, sometimes it’s both at the same time which gets really crazy.
Logan has been very clingy this week. I don’t remember him ever being like this. A mother’s selective memory, I’m very certain. […]
