Leading the Charge
The most interesting thing happened on Friday. Logan decided not to take an afternoon nap. And did great! He has pushed my “one nap plan” ahead by several weeks all on his own. I guess the couple weeks of a short morning nap helped him realize he was ready. Then on Sunday, Forest decided not to take the afternoon nap. So I’m plowing forward with one afternoon nap for each.
I’m really impressed at how this has all fallen into place. Everything is a bit in flux right now and I expect it will be for the next few weeks. Like this morning when Logan woke up at 5 AM and then promptly fell asleep in the car while taking Brad to the airport this morning. I’m just playing it by ear and trying to find a schedule that works for all three of us. ‘Cus the reality is that I have to look out for my needs, too. This coming week Brad will be out of town so I’m planning outings every day immediately after lunch. I’m going to take the boys to places where they can run around and get tired. We’ve done that the past three days and it’s worked out great.
