Differing Tastes in Music
While having the boys this weekend I decided to perform a little experiment. During play times this weekend I put the TV onto the cable music Electronica and Rap; HipHop stations (my favorites) and took mental notes of what types of music the boys danced to. From my observations, there’s a fairly definitive split between the two boys’ tastes in electronic music; Logan seems to prefer HipHop and various types of House music, whereas Forest seems to like traditional Electronica (Crystal Method, Chemical Bros., Daft Punk, etc.) and Jungle/Drum & Bass. Logan especially took a liking to a particular Felix da Housecat track that came on and danced most of the way through it. Next time, I plan to have a few play-lists from my personal collection ready to go for them and see if I can get them dancing the whole time!

I’ve also discovered that Logan likes good ol’ rock and rock and literally bangs his head to it. Forest seems to enjoy fusion music as well, electronic mixed with Indian for example. They are so darn cute!
