Slides
This weekend the boys enjoyed a new found freedom, they are able to climb up the stairs of the play scapes at the park and slide down the slides - all by themselves! After just a few visits to various local parks they have this slide thing figured out. It takes them a good deal of effort to climb up the play scape, often times stairs are big and challenging. But once they reach the top of the slide, they get the funniest smile. They know to sit down and hold the edge. Always pausing to emphasize the excitement of doing it all alone. Then weeeee, down they go to the bottom. Jumping back up quickly and rushing back to the stairs to do it all again. I beam with pride.
