drinkable yogurt
I went to the grocery store early this morning in preparation for great cold and much rain that was predicted to take up the rest of the day. I happened to notice the “Yo Baby” drinkable yogurt and bought some. Everyone raves about the drinkable yogurt as great for the kids and since our boys LOVE yogurt and this particular one was banana flavored (another favorite) and it’s the “Yo Baby” brand, I couldn’t resist.
Once again I’m about to do a product endorsement. I love “Yo Baby” products by Stoneybrook Farms. They are organic, they are toddler size, and they are whole milk. I don’t understand why all the other products on the market for kids are lowfat. Seriously, you’d think someone else would be smart enough to tap into the toddler market - but they don’t - so it’s their loss.
So back to the story… fast forward and the boys don’t eat much at lunch. They didn’t enjoy my garbanzo bean, pea, and corn salad like I thought they would. They were running around all grumpy and fighting over toys. I grab a couple of the drinkable yogurts, pour them into sippy cups and viola! Happy Boys! Logan liked them so much that he pitched a full on toddler tantrum when his was gone. As annoying as it was, it was pretty funny to watch him so upset because he liked something so much and there was no more left. Looks like I’ll be adding this one to our grocery list.
