speaking of
Yesterday I told Forest to “go play with his toys.” He started walking towards the cloth bins under the entertainment center where we keep their toys. Then I added, “stack your blocks.” He went immediately to the bin with the blocks, dumped them out and started stacking. The boy may not say any words but he sure does understand a lot!
I get the impression that the boys might be a little slow in speaking but I’ve heard this is really common with twins. Logan definitely is picking up a lot of words and in the past week or two has started to use them more. He’s started saying “ball” again and is practicing “bye bye” (his first words) again. This morning he was playing with a sheep puzzle piece and kept saying “ba ba”. It’s so cool to see the connections being made!
