off for a bit
Today Brad’s mother arrives for a visit with us and to watch the boys over the weekend. Brad and I leave on Thursday evening for a vacation to Santa Fe, New Mexico to visit friends and play in the snow. I grew up with snow and can’t wait to see real snow again for the first time in years. Living in Texas leaves my snowbug very unfulfilled. Anyway, I probably won’t post much in the coming week but will make up for it when I get back home. I’m off to hang out with grandma and build snowmen!

I’ve always said that, if I had a million dollars all to myself, I’d fly to Sante Fe every weekend for some warm sopapillas with honey and blue corn cheese enchiladas with green chile! Oh my! My mouth is watering just thinking about. My dad lived there a few years ago and I’d visit him a few times a year. Someday I’ll get back there!!
