snugglers, singers, and tongues - Oh My!

The boys love to walk up and just plop themselves into your lap. It’s so darn cute that it hurts. They know how to hug and if you ask for “snuggles”, Logan will bury his head in your lap in a giant hug of sweetness.

Forest figured out how to kiss a few weeks ago and earlier this week Logan had a breakthrough from watching his brother and I. Now if you ask for a kiss they open their mouths and wait for you to kiss them. Love this open mouth baby kisses!

It’s all about tongues for laughter lately. Stick out your tongue and the giggles erupt as everyone has to join in and stick out their tongue. Adults included.

Logan walks around the house singing. He’s been doing it for months but when it was hard to “declare” it as singing before but now it’s very defined and most definitely just that. He loves to “do too do” through the house as he plays. If I do the same with a specific tune, he’ll try and imitate it, sometimes perfectly.

Both boys love to dance now. If I sing a song or play music, they will bop along. Knees go up and down. Sometimes they throw up or out their arms and twist around their hands. Since we are a very musical household, it’s a daily event to see toddlers dancing.
