Weekends

We’ve had some neat weekends with the boys recently. Proving just how “back to the real world” we are getting as they approach a year old. Oh sure we have to be really aware of times and such but it’s getting easier and easier to do the things that us adults enjoy. Like the Austin Powwow a few weeks back. Both boys were completely enthralled by the Native American dancers and singers and clapped along (well, kinda) with the drums.

Thanksgiving in California was wonderful. The boys enjoyed cousins, grandparents, and an aunt and uncle giving them lots of love and new ways to play (and new foods to eat). Travel had its rough spots but nothing is unbearable or permanent. I think this is one of the secrets to not getting down about having babies, although I suppose it applies to life in general really. Nothing is permanent - sounds very Buddhist. I’ve got a ton of pictures to wade through but I’ll post some from that trip in the coming week.

We’ve gone out to eat several times in the past month and the boys have done pretty well. They leave one heck of a mess but we try and help clean up before leaving and leave a good tip to make up for it.
