Walk This Way, Talk This Way

As of yesterday Logan is walking all over the house. He seems to have really gotten his confidence and is all about his independence. It’s so cute to see him toddling around and his obvious excitement at this newly honed skill. Forest has also made a huge stride and is constantly walking away from furniture towards you in independent steps. Many people have said that it’s because he sees his brother doing it. And I’m sure that’s part of it, he definitely seems to be inspired by watching his brother start doing things. But he does them in a very different way. Where Logan is very slow and methodical, Forest waits and then picks things up really quickly. In fact, he’s running more then walking, just like he did with crawling. Once more we get to witness just how different these two little men are.

No real talking these days. It seems that the boys have no more need to say “ball” or “momma” or anything else really. They understand words and will point or get things if you ask. I expect that the walking is taking over right now and the talking will come back once they have walking mastered.
