catching up
I haven’t had much time to post recently with visits.
Last week we had a play date with Oz and Ab. I really enjoyed chatting with my fellow amazing twin momma, always does my heart good.
On Saturday Brad’s parents arrived and we’ve been on the go ever since. The boys ate breakfast, lunch and dinner at restaurants Saturday and did so Good!! We brought their food and gave them bites of ours to feed themselves. I think they love breakfast food as much as I do. And Ikea has become a favorite as well. Meatballs, macaroni and cheese and potatoes…MMMmmm. They got to see lots of family and Logan rewarded Grandpa Paul with his first word on Sunday. As Paul drove away to head off to Houston for a few days, Logan waved and said “buhbye”. We’ve been working on it for the past few weeks and he tries hard every time. It’s just so darn cute!!
Saturday night we were at a Mexican restaurant and these two musicians were playing guitar and maracas and singing in Spanish. Both boys lost all interest in their all time favorite bananas and just watched and listened. Especially Logan. It was one of my favorite memories for sure. I’m glad Brad got this photo with his new iPhone.
Brad leaves today for a week long trip and Peggy is staying here with me to help with the boys. Honestly it’s not even help with the boys as much as it is help me stay sane with adult conversation and fun trips to make. We’ve already really enjoyed the past few days together and I know this week will be wonderful. So expect a lot of pictures early next week when I download all of hers. Should be some good ones!
