Diapers
After trying cloth diapers for the first two months we decided it wasn’t working for me and switched to Seventh Generation disposables. Much better. And then I stumbled across 1800diapers.com to save some money on the Whole Foods price as well as able to buy in bulk. I’ve considered switching to another brand to save money but found the difference a matter of pennies per case so we decided to continue with the simple elegance of Seventh Generation. Not only do I appreciate the mission of the company but it’s nice not to see my children’s butts covered with the faces of well loved puppets and cartoon characters. Talk about clashing with their outfits! Once a month I put in an order for 2 cases (4 packages per case) of diapers. Logan just moved up to the size 4 and Forest is still comfy in the size 3, so now it’s a mixed bag.
I also use the Seventh Generation wipes and buy a case about every 2 months. I was doing pretty good about being able to use just one wipe for a poopie diaper a few months ago but with the introduction of solids I’ve given up even pretending and shamelessly use 3 or 4 or more as needed. Again 1800diapers enables me with their by the case price discount.
