Friday Quickies
I always find myself feeling particularly sexy when my hair is ubershort so thank you to Angela for last weekends cut that has had me smiling all week when I look in the mirror. I also decided to become a serious hat wearer again and bought an adorable green denim paperboy hat from Target.
Today a guy opened the door for me and the boys at the mall and called me “ma’am”. That was kinda weird considering I think I am at least his age if not younger but maybe it’s the whole mom thing. I liked it and appreciated it as respect.
My favorite sound is when Forest and/or Logan laugh. When they laugh together - forget it, I’m done.
Being alone with the boys for 4 days isn’t bad. Especially when it’s during the week. I’m used to doing most of that time alone anyway so while I’m exhausted in the evening, I can make it. I just can’t handle doing it without a break on the weekend.
The boys are really starting to interact a lot this week. Laughing, screeching, cuddling, you name it. It’s so exciting to see their relationship begin to evolve. Next weekend I’m going to Earthsprings for some me time and Dusty and Brad are going to split up the boys and each take one and then switch off the next day. So both boys will get alone time with their daddies. I’m really excited for all four of them and can’t help wondering if the boys will notice that the other isn’t around.
