Bibs and Big Boy Clothes
For the first 8 months of the boys’ lives, bibs were my best friend. First they were handy for all the acid reflux induced spit up then I switched to plastic backed ones and they kept the teething drool to a minimum clothing impact. ‘Cus let me tell you, Logan DROOLS. And I didn’t want to have to change their clothes three times a day and all the washing that would go along with that. So bibs it was. Until last week. I took them off and realized that the boys can go a whole day without a bib or needing their shirts changed. It’s so neat to be able to see all their cute little outfits as they were meant to be. I always tried to coordinate bibs with appropriate colors but sometimes it was difficult. Logan still drools but with two teeth in, the bibs can come off.
Along the same lines I’ve noticed how much I like dressing the boys in “big boy clothes” aka shirts and pants. The onesie has served it’s purpose and was OOOH SO USEFUL. But now I kinda like my guys looking like little people and less like babies. I mean they’ve already started that process themselves so why not dress them appropriately? And heavy duty sweat pants are the crawling boy’s best friend on our tiled floors. And at only $3.88 from Walmart I was able to get them in lots of colors.
