Crawling IS all that and a handful of cheerios

The boys have been crawling for about a month now. I’m so floored at how quickly they took off once they “got it”. It’s so cute to hear Forest’s little hands smacking down on the floor as he crawls after me down the hall or into the kitchen. Now that they can get to where they want to go it’s fun to see them zoom around the house after the cats, after Brad when he gets home from work, after me when I’m trying to make dinner. Forest and Logan still tend to want to be near each other and often end up crying over their attempts to be in the same space at the same time.

While in Vegas the guys learned about doors and understand that they open so it’s not uncommon for them to get up on the doors that they want into or out of.

They have also mastered “cruising”. I keep rearranging the living room furniture to accomodate the baby situation. With the desire to pull up on everything I created a giant U shape around the living room carpet with chairs, table, and couch. Now the boys can make it all the way around without much effort. They can even stand up with only the wall or Mommy’s leg as their leaning post.

Once again I’m amazed at how quickly they figure out and understand this world.
