Advancements and Giggles
The boys started doing something pretty amazing this past weekend. They started trying to put the rings on the base, trying to put the cubes into the holes, trying to put the ball onto the truck, to put the shapes into the holes. It’s really neat to watch them understand what to do instead of just putting things into their mouths. Logan does it a lot more often then Forest, could it be because he’s finally got some teeth in and can concentrate on other things? Forest is still having a REALLY tough time right now with teething and sleeping. I hope his teeth come in soon and stop being so painful for him. And our once great sleeper is now going through the sleep problems as he immediately pulls up and stands in the crib crying and can’t seem to fall into a deep sleep easily.
The other part of this past weekend that was amazing was how often the boys would burst into mad giggles at each other. Brad and I just sat back and laughed ourselves into tears watching the boys feeding more giggles with giggles. Even in the bath tub last night. It was hysterical. I am still trying to catch it on video but it’s almost like they know and don’t want to let me. It’s really fun at this age to watch them interacting. Giggling, smiling, screeching - all in unison. I think we are even seeing the beginnings of twin talk in that the boys definitely communicate on their own level. We may not understand but at least they let us watch.
