Talking Twins
The boys have been laughing and “talking” to each other even more lately. They will be crawling along, each doing his own thing and then catch the other’s eye and burst into smiles, laughs, and babbling or screeching. It’s something to see and hard to catch on the video camera, but I’m going to keep trying. I love that they are aware of each other and hope that they will be good friends as they grow up. They still hold hands when I feed them their formula at the same time. When Logan gets upset in the stroller, Forest reaches forward and pats him on the head as if to say, “It’s ok, Bro. I’m here for you.” Of course Forest gets upset any and every time Logan touches him while playing and lets out cries of frustration. And they both constantly steal toys from each other such that their first signed word will probably be “share” instead of “eat.” But yes, they not only are aware of each other at 8 months but really appear to like each other.
