There is so much going on these days that it’s hard to keep up.
Brad just left to spend 4 days at a conference in Boston so I’m alone with the boys until Friday. Dusty is going to come and help me each evening and get in his Dad time with them. This time I’m not at all afraid or worried about being by myself. Good thing too because next month Brad leaves for 8 days!
Dusty kept the boys Saturday evening through Sunday noon (with the help of his trusty sidekick and excellent Mom-friend, Chris) and they all had a great time together.
I am on the hunt for the perfect outfit for the wedding in Aspen. Only a few more weeks and I can’t believe how difficult it is. I am just so set in my ways regarding what looks good on me and what I think is appropriate.
Logan and Forest are both sitting up and balancing themselves pretty well. I don’t leave them alone sitting up yet but they’re definitely getting stronger.
They sleep from 7:30 PM until 4 AM without a peep. Forest starts waking around 4ish but stays down until 6 without too much complaint.
Logan rolls over any time he’s left alone on his back. On the floor, in the crib, wherever. He can scootch around on his tummy and the more mobile he gets the more he wants to get. Forest still hasn’t rolled on purpose so I’m pushing him a bit by not responding to his whines when he looses a toy to his side. I want him to be motivated to get it himself.
They drool so much from the teething that it’s like they have a water facet attached to their chins. Thank goodness for bibs with plastic on the back.
God Bless the excersaucer as the greatest way to keep the babies busy so that I can get food ready, clean up after feedings, etc.
