They Grow up so Fast

I can’t believe the boys are just a few weeks away from being 6 months old. They are such amazing little people. Logan no longer needs to be swaddled and *usually* goes down for naps and to bed at night well. It’s so cute, he’ll curl up on to his side and put his thumb in his mouth and then make little noises until he falls asleep. He’s learned to roll over - however it’s still an accident to get all the way over and usually when throwing a temper tantrum. Gee, I can’t wait until he’s a toddler! I’ve gotten used to Forest’s constant teething whine. The poor little guy. We’ve begun the process of weaning him off the swaddler this week as well. Next step, get them both sleeping in the same room. I wonder if it’ll work? Or will Forest end up sleeping in the office until next year when we get a bigger house? I love this house but it’s definitely getting too small for two baby boys, three cats and two adults.

The process of weaning has begun one meal at a time. The boys now enjoy rice cereal with mashed up banana and a bottle for lunch every day. We are also introducing vegetables at dinner time in the evening before our nightly walk. I’m not sure what we will do if it gets too hot for our walk. We enjoy it as much as the boys do and it’s been fun getting to know the neighborhood and the neighbors. I definitely want to think about getting back carriers for when the boys get bigger.
