My First Mother’s Day
Yesterday was my first Mother’s Day as a Mom and it was very special. Early Saturday morning flowers arrived from Logan and Forest (in other words- Brad had them sent before leaving for Peru) with a wonderful card. Saturday afternoon we picked my Mom up from the airport and a mysterious package of yummie bath products appeared from the boys that afternoon. Several friends and family took time to send thoughtful messages through various technology communications. And then I got a call from Bob and Gyee around noon saying that they were in Fredricksburg and on their way to visit us for the day! So I spent my first Mother’s day with the boys, Mom and the boy’s godparents and very special friends, Bob and Gyee. I couldn’t have been happier!!
I am so thankful for all the special people in my life and for those who took time to make me feel special this year.
