3 Months is huge!

I can not believe how different the boys are now! They are definitely past the “4th trimester” and are interacting with the world and starting to become little people and no longer “newborns”.

Sunday night and last night they slept 7 hours from their 10:00 PM feeding! I believe what I’ve read about sleeping through the night being developmental and not related to needing to eat. Monday was thrown off by a late start to the day and my allowing Logan to lead his need for naps which ended up with waking every 3 hours during the night. So yesterday I went back to my schedule of feeding them every three hours and making sure they go down for a nap an hour to two hours after each feeding. I can’t believe what a difference a 5 PM nap makes in Logan’s ability to go to bed well after the 7 PM feeding and stay asleep through the night. I dig having a schedule. Mind you it’s not set in stone as I figure there is room for an hour on either side. But it is working and it was lead by the boys, well Logan really, but it seems to fit Forest well.

Lots of smiles in our house these days and a great deal of cuteness as the boys learn more and more about their hands and each other’s hands.
