advice for twin moms (for now)
Some random thoughts to future new (twin) moms:
Get a copy of the DVD “Happiest Baby on the Block”, if your baby has colic.. this will save your life. It has become my official “shower gift” from now on.
Get a couple of good swaddlers. We are using the Miracle Blanket which is perfect for our 10 […]
recent changes
There have been a few recent changes that are interesting.
They boys have started eating every 2 hours during the day, but then eating less often at night (yay more sleep!). This is tough on me during the day because it basically means feeding a baby every hour because the boys often end up on different […]
it’s true what they say
Every day gets easier and easier with the twins. I’m not sure what happened exactly but at about 8 weeks something just changed. Something inside of me (horomones?) clicked and I’m not as easily upset by situations. Something with Logan clicked and he’s not as easily upset by his body and the environment. Oh sure […]
looking forward
I like to have things to look forward to, I enjoy having plans so that I can get excited about fun things to come. Right now when I look at the calendar, I have a lot of fun things to look forward to!
This weekend is a naming ceremony for the boys. Glenda is […]
2 month pics
2 Months
2 months
The boys are sleeping off the tramatic effects of their first shots, thanks to infant tylonal.
Forest is now 9 lbs 4 ozs and Logan is 12 lbs!
They are such good, sweet boys. I love them more every moment.
moving on
Logan “talks” more then he cries now!
Yes, there was a turning point at about 8 weeks where things started to get easier. How much is my getting used to things and how much is them being more aware of the environment and thus more “independent”, I’m not sure. But we are having fun!
Any day now […]
seeking a part time helper
Early morning hours when I could have slept a bit more but I’ve had over 5 hours (possibly over 6) and decided to use the time to call on Mother’s Helper/Nanny candidates. Spoke with two, one who is a professional nanny who has experience with two sets of twins in her career! One set she […]
gripe water
Logan is being sooo good this week! Which is good because Brad left today for a long weekend in New Mexico. I wonder if my use of gripe water is the reason for Logan’s better moods? Doesn’t seem to help Forest much though. Logan has been sitting in his chairs and watching the world without […]
digestion
Did you know that breastfed babies can go a whole week and poop only once?? And there is nothing wrong with them!
Poor guys, digestion is so painful for them. I read that 3 months is when their digestive system gets more relaxed and won’t hurt them so much. Since this is the cause […]
