They now come twice a week
This morning I had a doctor’s appointment. My blood pressure was elevated enough for some concern (140/80). The doc had me lay down and then checked my other arm and it went down to 100/60. There was no protein in my urine sample and I haven’t exhibited any other symptoms of preclampsia. She went ahead and ordered a blood test run just to be safe and reminded me to call if I get any other symptoms (facial swelling, sever headache, seeing spots). She didn’t check my cervix this time. I’m glad of because the last two times she has it hurt and left me with cramping. That never happened with my cervix checks with Laura so the doc may have been going deeper on purpose, who knows. It was funny when the doc’s main nurse asked me twice why I had two appointments this week and I had to say both times that it was because the doctor scheduled me to be. I don’t know how these things work! Two more appointments scheduled for next week, one on Tuesday and one on Friday.
Mom arrives at 5 PM tomorrow night, yay!
