34 weeks – sleeping beauty
This is the 34th week and all I want to do is Sleep. I didn’t really have this problem when I was in the first trimester like a lot of women have. I currently sleep for 5 – 6 hours at night, have breakfast and read for a bit, and then sleep for a [...]
Soup Peddler
Several weeks ago Alissa was telling me about the Soup Peddler. He was once a man who sold soup to the homes in South Austin and since his bicycle was his means of delivery, he had to keep it basic. Now he has expanded and delivers all the way up to our homes [...]
Typical
I just tried to go have lunch with my friends but my shoes wouldn’t fit. Oh sure one pair had been a little tight but I could wear them without it hurting or anything. But today my feet are already so swollen that the shoes literally would not go on my feet. I’m trying not [...]
33 weeks
This week I put on 5 lbs, however Laura said it could be the water retention. I am at 181! My fundal height (size of my uterus) is at 41 cm so if I was a carrying a single baby I’d be overdue. My blood pressure is still excellent and while my cervix is starting [...]
breastfeeding
Last week we attended the “Breastfeeding Multiples” class. It was 3 hours long, which is honestly way too long to ask a 3rd trimester multiples’ mother to sit, no matter how many breaks you have. skin changes
One reason I started this blog was to record my pregnancy experience for myself as well as for other women or even men who might be interested. The body changes in so many ways during a pregnancy; some changes are amazing and beautiful, some are weird, some painful or uncomfortable. Usually about once a week [...]
bloated ankles
Edema is gross… my ankles and toes are so swollen that I feel I have hobbit feet. No other swelling though so it’s nothing to be worried about.
Shower Blessings
Had a very good weekend with good friends.
Saturday I allowed myself to rest a lot knowing that I wasn’t going to have much rest once friends and family began to arrive that evening. Bob, Gyee, Crystal, Dusty’s Mom – Karen, and Chris all came into town and joined us (Dusty, Wendy, Sandip, Avery, Brad [...]
Edema
I finally have edema as well. It’s only in my ankles and Laura said not to be concerned unless I notice my face swelling because then it would be a sign of blood pressure issues caused by preclampsia. I feel better about it knowing I have my blood pressure checked once a week. I can [...]
Cramped Inside
The boys are so cramped in there! At this point you can see both of their backs arched up against my belly as they attempt to make as much room as possible in their little home. I feel so bad and wish I could offer them more space. Logan tends to be [...]
