the final countdown

I had the final ultrasound at the Perinatal Clinic today.  Both boys are still head down so we will definitely be scheduling a vaginal delivery. Logan is still presenting which means he’s definitely named right.  I just have this thing about Logan being more dominate and “pushy” then Forest.  I don’t think Forest is going to be meek and mild by any stretch but Logan just seems to have this dominance about him.  I’ve been able to keep track of who is who in the womb so it’ll be interesting to see how they are as we get to know them in their developing personalities.
It’s no wonder it’s been a hard week physically, there is 10.5 lbs of baby in there!  Logan is about 5 lbs 6 ozs and Forest is about 5 lbs 3 ozs.  Forest has a bigger tummy then Logan.  It was really hard for them to see much because they are so squished in there.  So we are still expecting them to be about 6 lbs each come delivery.

Tomorrow I have an appointment with my OB and I expect we’ll discuss an induction date here in about 2 weeks.  So once that date is set I’ll be praying for the boys to come on their own in the days just before that.  I would much rather not have an induction but I’m also not going to be able to carry them for the full 40 weeks.
My mom is planning to fly in on the 2nd.  All weekend I kept thinking how great it is that she’ll be here so soon.  I only get to see my family about once a year so I’m really looking forward to seeing my parents next month.  And what daughter doesn’t want her mother there when she gives birth?  There is something special about that.

Way to go! I’m sure all your praying, talking, and rubbing and the boys almost ready to face the world head first! I can’t wait to meet them:)
