33 weeks
This week I put on 5 lbs, however Laura said it could be the water retention. I am at 181! My fundal height (size of my uterus) is at 41 cm so if I was a carrying a single baby I’d be overdue. My blood pressure is still excellent and while my cervix is starting to feel the pressure from the babies it is still not softening or opening yet. She says that next week I’ll be given the go ahead to stop resting so much and start getting out and about to try and stimulate some changes. Last minute mall shopping, here I come!! Next week will also be my last appointment with Laura which will be sad. I’ve really enjoyed her personality and advice and I’m going to miss her not being part of the process until the end. I’ll definitely have to come back by with the boys to meet her after the new year. I have one more ultrasound at the Perinatal Clinic and two non-stress tests scheduled.
At the OB appointment I was told that both boys are still head down, they were head to head and it was so cute. I go back to see the OB in two weeks and then will start going once a week (but that’ll only really be one more appointment). The day before Thanksgiving we’ll be talking labor details, wow!
