Halloween

Saturday night Dusty had his yearly Halloween party. It’s his favorite holiday so he always goes all out with lots of carved pumpkins, dry ice for special effects, tons of decorations, etc. Our parties in Dallas were always the hit of the night with most people making us the last stop of their party hopping. This year was a little different being in a new city and being on the same night as a wedding that many of our friends were attending. I also wasn’t much help, pretty much unable to do a whole lot to help. Of course I think Dusty may have liked my lack of interference this year, it really was all his without my silly, frilly, girly stuff. I took a late nap so that I could stay up late and enjoy seeing our friends. I only lasted a few hours before my back got too tired but it was great being out and seeing everyone. I enjoyed laughing with and hugging old friends.

I was pretty tired out from Saturday errands to get pumpkins and dry ice so I never put together a neat costume. This is where the good old stand-by witches’ hat comes in handy. No, the snake wasn’t real but it fooled a few people at first!

Here is Dusty in his way cool Jedi costume and Brad looking spooky despite his smile.

One friend took a lot of pictures and when I saw myself this morning I couldn’t believe it…. I’m that big?! It’s hard to know how big your belly has gotten when you are always looking down at it or in a mirror. Here are a couple belly pics, one that shows off the blue in my hair really well and another one just cus I think I look cute.
