On Tuesday I sent out an email to our staff letting them know that I am leaving a little early because of the twin pregnancy and that I won’t be coming back and introduced them to my replacement. Several employees sent kind emails of congratulations. This one was the funniest, considering it came from a developer and we work at a software company. He’s a developer who I see with his daughter often so it was extra sweet because I can tell he’s a good dad.
“Congratulations, I hope your product is released on time and without
any serious bugs.”
