It’s most likely that the twins will be a much lower birth weight then a single baby even if they go full term at 38-40 weeks. The average singleton is 7 lbs while the average twins are 5lbs. One wise grandmother pointed this out yesterday and has had the forsight to start buying some preemie outfits for the little ones. Despite knowing this I hadn’t even thought of it so thank you grandma! I found a website that sells preemie clothes several months ago and thought I’d post it here in case anyone is interested. They also list the companies that make preemie clothes which may be helpful as well. http://www.preemiestore.com/
