I felt them!

Yesterday I definitely felt the babies! Brad was playing his didgreedoo and I got the idea to sit right in front of him with the end of the didge in front of my belly. All of a sudden I felt something very obviously the babies or a baby. Ever since that moment I’ve been feeling them, last night and again this morning. It really is the neatest feeling and fluttering seems to be the best way to describe it.

Thursday night after work I headed to Payless and stocked up on new shoes for the pregnancy. No more cute little heeled sandles with the buckle to wear to work, now it’s flat heeled ballet slippers. No more flipflops that hurt my heels after a few minutes of walking in the grocery store, now it’s cushy heeled tennis shoes with no back so they just slip on easily. I also picked up a pair of cushy slipper like flipflops to wear around the house so that my feet and legs don’t hurt so much while cooking. Cus I’m really enjoying being in the kitchen lately. I’ve noticed my normal shoes are also starting to flit snuggly so everything I bought is stretchy with no places that pull or are tight.

Went and saw M. Night’s new movie “The Lady in the Water” and I REALLY liked it. It used mythology, story telling and spoke on a topic that I often consider, our gifts and how to use them. I know that many don’t like his work but I really appreciate it and enjoy it.

Ebaying this weekend was successful, I have the quilt, two bumpers and mobile now. I won’t know about the bunny lamp until Wednesday but the battle is already getting hot so this should be interesting.
