eating for two/three

My stomach sickness is either subsiding or I’m doing a good job of keeping it under control. I still feel like I’m going to get ill at least once a day but it’s much more manegable and tends to come after I eat now instead of because I need to eat. It’s usually after dinner and combined with fatigue I just want to fall down and melt away.
I’m thinking about ways I can increase my needed nutrients right now. If I am having twins this is going to be especially important.
So far I’ve decided to add smoothies to my diet, mixes of milk, yogurt and fresh fruit. This will add needed calcium, protein, and fiber. These will be great for in between meals.
I’m going to start having oatmeal with raisins and dates for breakfast. This will increase my fiber and iron. Whole grain bread with peanut butter as well as nuts for snacks will again increase my fiber, iron and protein.
Two things that I thought of today are egg salad and bean salads. The bean salads especially can use a lot of the things we’ve been getting in the weekly veggie box which will help again increase my
fiber, iron and protein.
I’m actually excited to think of things that sound good, are easy and quick, and will help me stay healthy.
